Down-draft paint booth, digital color spectrophotometer, multi-stage base/clear systems, and a finishing process that ends in color sand and polish. The repaired panel doesn’t just match — it disappears into the rest of your vehicle.
Overview
Modern automotive paint is a multi-layer system: primer, basecoat, mid-coat (on tri-stage finishes), and clear. Get any one layer wrong — wrong tint, wrong viscosity, wrong flash time — and the panel reads as ‘off’ the moment it leaves the shop. Auto Magician uses a digital spectrophotometer to read your factory color and a computerized mixing system to formulate the exact match.
Application happens in a fully sealed down-draft booth so airborne dust never contaminates the finish. Our painters are factory-certified on PPG, Sherwin-Williams Spies Hecker, and Sikkens systems — meaning we can match factory finishes from every major manufacturer.
After paint, every panel goes through a baked cure cycle, color sand, and machine polish. The result is a finish that meets or exceeds factory: glassy, even, and indistinguishable from the panels around it.
What’s Included
Every paint job — from a single panel to a full repaint — runs through this process.
Your factory paint code is verified with a digital reading on the actual panel.
Sealed, climate-controlled, dust-free environment for every coat.
Primer, sealer, base, mid-coat (if applicable), and clear coat.
Heat-cure for full hardness before any handling.
Wet sand to remove orange peel, then machine polish to factory gloss.
Adjacent panels color-blended so the repair vanishes into the body.
Doors, hoods, and trunk lids painted with edges and jambs included where required.
Refinish work backed for as long as you own the vehicle.
Process
Strip, sand, and primer the panel. The finish is only as good as the prep underneath.

FAQ
Don’t see your question? Ask Alex or call us. We answer the phone.
Yes. Our spectrophotometer + digital mixing + blend technique consistently produces factory-invisible repairs across all OEM finishes — including tri-stage pearls and mica metallics.
Yes — full repaints, color changes, and restoration projects are all welcome.
Single-panel repaints typically take 2–3 days including cure and polish. Full vehicle repaints run 1–2 weeks.
Modern factory-grade clear coats are UV-stable for 8–10+ years under normal Texas conditions. Our refinish work is warrantied for life of ownership.
