Curb rash, gouges, bent rims, custom refinishing. Properly repaired and refinished — for a fraction of what a new wheel would cost. Factory-matched powder coat and lifetime warranty.
Overview
A new factory wheel can run $400–$1,500 depending on the vehicle. Most curb-rashed wheels can be repaired and refinished for a fraction of that — and look identical to new when we’re done. Auto Magician’s wheel repair process handles three major damage types: cosmetic damage (curb rash, gouges, scrapes), structural damage (bent rims, hairline cracks in non-load-bearing areas), and finish refresh (peeling clear, faded color).
We use a wheel lathe for true mechanical refinishing on machined-face wheels, color-matched powder coat for painted finishes, and certified bend-repair on aluminum wheels with rim damage. For load-bearing structural cracks or wheels with broken hubs, we’ll honestly tell you to replace — wheel safety isn’t something we’ll compromise on.
Custom refinishing — color changes, two-tone finishes, brushed-and-clear, gloss black or matte — is also welcome. Our paint booth handles wheel refinishing alongside our regular automotive paint work.

Don’t see your question? Ask Alex or call us. We answer the phone.
Curb rash repair starts around $150–$200 per wheel. Full refinishing with color change is typically $200–$300 per wheel. Bent-rim repair varies based on severity. Alex can quote after seeing photos.
Single-wheel curb rash repairs are typically 2–3 days. Full sets are usually 4–5 days including remount and balance.
Sometimes. Hairline cracks in non-load-bearing areas of aluminum wheels can be welded and refinished. Cracks in the load-bearing barrel or near the hub require replacement — we’ll never compromise wheel safety to save you a dollar.
Absolutely. Gloss black, matte black, bronze, anthracite, two-tone, brushed-and-clear — all done in our booth.
Yes. Powder-coat refinishing is more durable than factory paint, and we warranty it for life of ownership.
